Atlas Mercury Anamorphic Lens Set

The Atlas Mercury series is Atlas Lens Co.'s latest anamorphic offering. It is a Full-Frame 1.5X squeeze anamorphic in a revolutionarily compact form factor. 

The Mercury lenses empower filmmakers with their staggering speed at T/2.2 in a compact form factor at ~3lb each, yet are uncompromising in their full-frame optical performances with superb close-focus capabilities at mere inches.

Unlike traditional anamorphic lenses with the common blue or purple flare and streaks, the Mercury lenses bring warm Amber tones in their classic anamorphic flaring and streaking, granting them a special look. While the lenses still possess the traditional barrel distortion, mild spherical aberration, and progressive field curvature seen in classic Anamorphic optics, the Mercuries are well-controlled in regards to other optical artifacts such as chromatic aberration, astigmatism, and coma, making it one of the highest optically performing anamorphic cinema lenses available.

Being a Full-Frame 1.5X Anamorphic, the Mercuries can squeeze a 4:3 sensor to 2:1, and a 16:9 sensor to 2.6:1.
